70 people were surveyed. If 2,000 people were surveyed, about how many would choose the SUV? Please explain how to get to the answer and what it is.

(12/70) is the fraction that chooses SUV
so
(12/70) (2,000)

12/70 = 0.1714

0.1714 * 2000 = 342.9 = 343
