(X * molar mass H2O) /
[(molar mass NaCO3) + (X * molar mass H2O)] = .6294
[(molar mass NaCO3) + (X * molar mass H2O)] = .6294

I would think that was Na2CO3.xH2O and not NaCO3.xH2O

=100-62•94=37•06%
Mass of anhydrous salt Na2Co3 in the hydrated salt
(2*Na)+(1*c)+(3*o)
(2*23)+(1*12)+(3*o)
=46+12+48
=106g
% by mass of hydrated salt
=100-62•94=37•06%
