henry2,
Given: A(-3, -1), B(4, -3), Y-int. = 2.
Y = mx + b.
m = (-3-(-1))/(4-(-3)) = -2/7.
-1 = (-2/7)(-3) + b.
b = -13/7.
Eq: Y = (-2/7)x - 13/7.
Y = mx + b.
m = (-3-(-1))/(4-(-3)) = -2/7.
-1 = (-2/7)(-3) + b.
b = -13/7.
Eq: Y = (-2/7)x - 13/7.
