The radius of a tire is 1.2 feet. How far will you travel after ten complete rotations of the tire?

C = 3.14 * 2.4
C = ______ feet

Multiply the circumference by 10.

C= 75.36 ft. But may I ask how you got 2.4 which you multiplied by 3.14?

The radius is half the diameter.

The circumference can't be 75 feet. 2 times 3 is normally 6 -- so the radius must be 7.536 feet.
