im bad at math
a situation in which the distributive property could be used is the perimeter of a rectangle. 2(length + width) = 2length + 2width
example- suppose the length of the rectangle is 10 cm and width is 4 cm
With distributive
2(10) + 2(4) = 20+8 =28cm
Without
(10+4) = 2(14) =28cm
example- suppose the length of the rectangle is 10 cm and width is 4 cm
With distributive
2(10) + 2(4) = 20+8 =28cm
Without
(10+4) = 2(14) =28cm
