What was the original aim of affirmative action?

A.
equal opportunity for minority groups

B.
equal results for minority groups

C.
to meet quotas for school admissions

D.
to rewrite and expand the Fourteenth Amendment

Even though the goal of the affirmation action is to provide equal opportunities and results to the minority, I think the answer is C (I feel like I can't choose A over B or vice versa, unless I'm missing something).

Actually, now that I think about it, it might be A because the quotas came as a result of the affirmative action. Still not sure though
