A container of gas has a volume of 3.5 L and a pressure of 0.8 atm. Assuming the temperature remains constant, what volume of gas would result if the pressure was 0.5 atm?

PV=kT
since T is constant, kT is constant, and so is PV.
so, you want V such that
0.5*V = 0.8*3.5
