A tennis ball machine fires a ball vertically upwards at time t=0 at 19.6 m/s. Assume that air resistance is negligible and take g=9.8 m/s^2. Calculate the displacement and velocity of ball at t=1 s.

v = Vi - 9.8 t
h = Hi + Vi t - 4.9 t^2
here: Vi = 19.6, Hi = 0, t = 1
so
v = 19.6 - 9.8*1
h = 0 + 19.6 - 4.9 * 1^2
h = Hi + Vi t - 4.9 t^2
here: Vi = 19.6, Hi = 0, t = 1
so
v = 19.6 - 9.8*1
h = 0 + 19.6 - 4.9 * 1^2
