My answer:

y=x_4

huh? you can't check your answers?
y=x-2
y=4x+1
does (1,-2) work in both? clearly not
eliminate y and you have x-2 = 4x+1

y=x-4
y=-x+2
does (7,3) work? nope
solve x-4 = -x+2

2x+y=8
y=x-7
does (5,2) work? nope
looks like (5,-2) does, though.

Better check the steps you used to arrive at your answers.
