    getting a "feel" for the numbers
as x ---> ∞ , √)x^2 + x) ----> 0
so as x ---> ∞, Lim (-3x+1)/√(x^2 + x)
= lim (-3x+1)/x
= -3
    
as x ---> ∞ , √)x^2 + x) ----> 0
so as x ---> ∞, Lim (-3x+1)/√(x^2 + x)
= lim (-3x+1)/x
= -3
