The poem of the road not taken could you help me with this one question? I tried to ask my mom but she didn't know either.
How do you think the different roads in these poems might symbolize or represent the situations of the two speakers?

Think of all the major decisions a person has to make: what classes to take, whether to go to college or not, whether to marry this person or that person, whether to take this job or that one, whether to move here or there. If you chose one thing, then you are started on a "road" which will lead you to the next decision.
