the coefficient in front of "log" has the same effect as the exponent in the argument

a log(b^c) = a c log(b)

2 log(8^2) = 2 * 2 * log(8) = 4 log(8)

2 log (8^3) = 2 * 3 * log(8) = 6 log(8)

2Log8^2 + 2Log8^3 = 2Log(8^2*8^3) = 2Log8^5.
