F = ma, so a = F/m
s = 1/2 at^2 = 1/2 (F/m) t^2
so,
1/2 (F/0.9)*10^2 = 250
F = 55.5 N

Ooops. My bad. It should have been
55.5F = 250
F = 4.5N
