There's no x in your problem.

multiply both sides by 100 x
100 x (3/100) = 100 x (30/x)
3 x = 3,000
x = 1,000
or simply multiply the left side by 10/10
30/1,000 = 30/x
:)
100 x (3/100) = 100 x (30/x)
3 x = 3,000
x = 1,000
or simply multiply the left side by 10/10
30/1,000 = 30/x
:)

sorry my phones broke so im putting everything wrong for my second problem i ment to put 5/100=30/6
Answered by
Damon
that makes NO SENSE. You have no unknown there and it is wrong anyway
5/100 = 0.05
30/6 = 5
they are not the same
you must have an x somewhere
5/100 = 0.05
30/6 = 5
they are not the same
you must have an x somewhere

Damon
multiply both sides by 100x
5 x = 300
x = 60
now try that
3/60 = 30/600 = 5/100 yes
5 x = 300
x = 60
now try that
3/60 = 30/600 = 5/100 yes
