I am writing a synthesis essay over multiple different sources. I have started writing my essay about how unhealthy relationships are often hard to spot and about how we often tell ourselves everything is fine and make up a vision in our heads of what we think the relationship is. It's also exploring the idea of people never being satisfied because human nature is to strive for perfect and another human could never be perfect, and also the idea that if we let greed overcome us until we end up realizing back where we started was pretty great. I've been having the hardest time coming up with a thesis statement for the intro paragraph that sounds professional but also embodies and narrows down these topics. Could someone please help me? Thank You!

So what is your thesis? Goodness. Clear your mind, and decide. If you can't focus, you are going to write another War and Peace.
I suggest focusing on the nature of the personality roles in unhealthy relationships: Control, manipulation, applying unreal expectations and standards. Even that is a long essay.
