    Perimeter=42 feet
Width is x feet
Length is x + 5 (The length is 5 feet LONGER than the width so we make the width x and we add 5 to the length)
Now we can form an equation
42= x + x + (x + 5)+ (x + 5)
42= 4x + 10
32= 4x
x= 8 feet
Now we can substitute in 8 for the width (x) and the length (x+5)
8+ 8+13+13= 42
Therefore the width is 8 feet and the length is 13 feet
