POS= 1/2 of 82, so 10x+1= 42.
You can do that.
A bisector splits something into 2 equal halves.
If you can't get it , draw a picture, it helps.

10x + 1 = 42 (42 because it's half of 82 just like PQS is in the half of PQR in the figure.)
10x = 41
x = 82
