do you know about sigma notation?
I know what it is I'm just asking so someone could help me with my questions.
5/9 degree fahrenheit
NaC6H5COO- (aq) + HCl (aq) <---> NaCl (aq) + C6H5COOH (aq)
should say
NaC6H5COO (aq) + HCl (aq) <---> NaCl (aq) + C6H5COOH (aq)
and 0.8 NaC6H5COO, not 0.8 NaC6H5COO-
One of the other values I have to plug in for HCl is 0.803 mols/L
So then at equilibrium, NaC6H5COO is 0.197, NaCl is 0.803, C6H5COOH is 0.803
If I plug it into Henderson Hasselbach equation:
pH = pKa + log [0.197]/[0.803]
the log of 0.197/0.803 is negative, -0.61
Can I still plug it even if it's negative?
pH = 4.21 + (-0.61) = 3.60
Conceptually it makes sense because weak base-strong acid titrations are less than 7, and adding more HCl will decrease the pH. I just want to make sure that I can use negative numbers using the equation.
that's what i thought, too. but it's not.
2n(material)t= m*(wavelength/2)
going from a medium with higher n to lower n, you divide the wavelength by 2.
thanks for the help, though. i eventually figured it out!
wait, aren't we lookng for the mass, too?
so, q is the elementary charge times 2, and Q is the charge of lead? what is that?
and thanks, the concepts are much clearer.
It's an experiment.
In Part 2.2.4 of the experiment, some light that reflects off the apparatus or from neighboring stations strikes the photometer even when the direct beam is blocked. In addition, due to electronic drifts, the photometer does not generally read 0.0 mV even in a dark room.

I was told that when dividing a mixed number you write the reciprocal of the second number and then multiply and that will change the answer.
Isn't this a division problem? I have to divide 1-1/2 into two parts.
Thank you very much for your help. I had the same answer. I'm trying to explain the reciprocal to my daughter, she is worried that her teacher will say the answer is wrong.
Thank you!

Thank you for all your help.Thank you for your patience too Could you recheck this?
I don't understand about who talks much-my number 10 but I think you put it at #9You said it was the brother not the person but I'm confused why it states me and then habla-doesn't "me" refer to "I" but I know habla refers to him-that's here I'm confused, I think
Doesn't this translate to the persona talking , not the brother?
Siempre me habla mucho antes de dormir.

convert grams into kilo grams:
95/1000 = .095 kg
x = sqrt MV^2/k
x = sqrt .095(3.4)^2/70
x = .12525
x = .13 m
x = 13 cm

I believe the correct answer is C. increase;reduce?
I believe that the correct answer is B. Physical activity.
I put D down and got it wrong.
The answer is y=2x+7. First put it in point slope form then solve it into slope-intercept form. Use the same slope because having parallel lines means the same slope.
I think it good.
I am not sure but I think it is 50,400 dollars a week.
60 minutes in one hour
24 hours in one day
7 days in week
(5x60)=300
300x24= 7200
7200x7=50,400
x+2x+3x=180
add them.
6x=180
divide
180/6= 30

No it would contain4. It would contain 4 chromosomes. 2n means its a diploid cell which contains 8 chromosomes. Gamates are haploid cells therefore contain of a diploid.
i do it like this though
2n=8
2Divided into 8=4..
The forth one is correct and that is it. The other examples are extremely grammatically incorrect.
@DrBob222
so, for the first part I do,
Ksp = (Mg^2+)(OH^-)^2 , which is
1.8x 10^-11 = (.0286)(OH)^2
for OH-, i get 2.51 x 10^-5
then, for the second part, I do,
Kb = (NH4^+)(OH^-)/(NH3), which is
1.8x 10^-11 = (NH4)(2.51 x10^-5)/(.114)
for NH4, i got 8.17x10^-8 mol
then I converted this to (NH4)2SO4 by dividing
8.17x10-8mol NH4/ 2 , for then i get
4.08 x 10^-8 mol (NH4)2SO4
I then multiply that by the molar mass,
4.08x10^-8 mol X 132.065 g (NH4)2SO4,
then i get 5.4x 10^-6.
i put this answer in, but it says that its wrong.
did i do anything wrong?
The solubility of AgCl(s) in water at 25 C is 1.33x10^-5 M and its deltaH of solution is 65.7 kJ/mol .
What is its solubility at 60.1 C ?
Please explain how to solve for this!!
Thank you Ms.Sue!!!!
Thank you!
Thank you very much!!!
Thank you PsyDAG this will be very helpful.
the odds are against 2/7. Meaning 2 out of 7 chances you are going to have s. And 5 out of 7 you will not get S.
On the world or in general. I'm trying to argue the mayan civilization was the best and i need to know what negative effects did the Incas and Aztecs do.

sorry for the confusion !
So divide both sides by t and end up with v=-32? That doesn't seem right.
Never mind. I forgot about multiplying it by 4 because it's supposed to be the velocity for 4 seconds.
