For my theortical yield I got 1.1173 g
For my actual yield I got 0.27 g
I need to find my percent yield and percent error. Did I do this right?
% Yield = (0.27/1.1173) * 100
= 24 %
% Error = [(0.27-1.1173)/1.1173] * 100
= -76 %

Yes, that is done correctly. For the % error, I GUESS that's ok but I don't know that I would call it error. The yield is 24% of theoretical and that is 76% short of the mark. I've never heard it referred to as error. Whatever your prof wants there is what you put. Your calculation is ok.
