sorry - you cannot do
∫√(x dx)
But, you can integrate
√x dx
since that is just x^(1/2) dx and the power rule gives you
x^(3/2)
-------------- = 2/3 x^(3/2) + C
3/2
∫√(x dx)
But, you can integrate
