                how do you find the x intercepts for the equation x^2 + 7x -12?
like, I know you have to set it equal to 0 but I have no clue what numbers multiply to -12 and add to +7. plz help

If the 12 was positive
It would factor to 4 and 3
There will not be any x-intercepts since it isn't factorable.
