If it was 8:00am in Greenwich England what time would it be in Vancuver Canada?
That is my question---I had written it out on a test but got the answer wrong and now that I'm trying to study I don't know the answer.
Is is 12 am or 12 pm?

Thank you for using the Jiskha Homework Help Forum. It is a difference of 7 hours later in Greenwich, or 7 hours sooner in Vancouver. Therefore, if it is 8 a.m. in Greenwich, it will be 1 a.m. in Vancouver of the same day.

When it's 8 a.m. in Greenwich, it's 8 hours earlier in Vancouver. That makes it 12 a.m. (midnight) in Vancouver.

Sra is probably right. Greenwich doesn't observe Summer or Daylight Savings Time, but Vancouver does. Therefore during our Daylight Savings Time, there's only a 7 hour difference.
