Both your answers are wrong, and you do not show your work.
Answered by Ms. Sue
1. How much fabric does she use? Subtract that from the amount she has at the beginning.

2. Start by subtracting 12.50 from 71.

If each costume takes 5.8 yards and she made ten of them, how much fabric did she use?
Answered by eevee
okay i got 58.5
Answered by Ms. Sue
That's a start. Keep going.

,.........i don't know what to do

Even that is wrong, eevee. What do you get when you multiply 5.8 by ten? I learned how to do that in elementary school. Then, if that answer is how much fabric she used, and she started with 238.2 yards, how much does she have left? What's the remainder? I learned how to subtract in first or second grade.
