Each costume requires 2 2/3(two and twothirds) of fabric.Mrs Joy has 18 1/2yds of fabric.How many costumes can she complete.

18 1/2 = 37/2
2 2/3 = 8/3

(37/2) / (8/3) = 37/2 * 3/8 = 111/16 = 6 15/16

so, not quite 7 costumes.
