I have to write a summary response essay to "How to Tame a Wild Tongue" by Gloria Anzaldua. However I do not know how to construct this thesis. The text is about Anzaldua's frustration towards having to change her accent, language, and being told how to talk because of where she is living. She shows rebellion in her writing. I agree with her because I have personal experience of being told to speak a certain language. Can I please have some ideas to make a thesis statement for my essay?
