The Bill of Rights is in the United States Constitution, not state constitutions. I'd opt for D, yes.

Sarah, I really don't know what the correct answer is. Both A and D could be "right" on your assignment/quiz. State constitutions do tend to be longer and more specific. Maybe that's the right answer. Without reading your text, it's hard to know what they want.

State constitutions DO often have a bill of rights, so D would be wrong. THE Bill of Rights is the first ten amendments to the U. S. Constitution, but states do have their own, too. So D would be wrong, since the question does not capitalize "bill of rights." Sorry for the confusion.
