Belle gets 3 buckets of fish evreyday. there are 8 fish in each bucket.if Belle eats two and a half buckets of fish,how many fish will she have left

3*8 = 24 fish per day
2.5 * 8 = 16 + 4 = 20 eaten
so 4 left over each day

how many fish= 3x8, which is 24.
she ate 2 and a half buckets, so you multiply 2x8=16. since she ate a half, you add 4 to 16. 20 is the answer.
