The minimum is (3 π, 5) and the maximum is (5 π, 8). What is the amplitude and what is the period?

amplitude = (8-5)/2
period = (5π-3π)*2 = 4π

Assuming the cited min and max are consecutive extrema (that is, half the cycle)
