a)
so use -3 for x
(-3)^2 + 9 = 9+9 = 18
b)
now use -2 for x
(-2)^2 + 9 = 4 + 9 = 13
so use -3 for x
(-3)^2 + 9 = 9+9 = 18
b)
now use -2 for x
(-2)^2 + 9 = 4 + 9 = 13
