the slopes will be the same?

slope intercept form
m= y2-y1/
x2-x1
m= y2-y1/
x2-x1

You have the name of the form write but that equation is point slope form
Slope intercept form is y=mx+b
Slope intercept form is y=mx+b

okay, but i still don't understand on how to solve this

The equation they gave you is in slope intercept form and you already know the slopes are the same. You just need to know the slope of the given equation.

in y=mx+b form
y=y value
m=slope
x=x value
b= y-intercept
y=y value
m=slope
x=x value
b= y-intercept
