Question
Please help me
find the slope of a line that is perpindicular to the line to the line containing the points -2, -1 and 2, -3.
m = -2
m = 2
m= -1/2
m = -1
I think it is a, but I have no idea

first, find the slope of the line, then take the negative reciprocal.
slopw of line; m=&y1-y2)/(x1-x2)=(-1--3)/(-2-2)=2/-4= -1/2
what is the negative of the reciprocal of that?

-2/1?
bobpursley
Nope, take the reciprocal of -1/2, then multiply it by -1
bobpursley
of course.
PLEASE HELP THIS IS URGENT
so it is m = 2?
