Question
you wish to purify by distillation a material that has a boiling point of 205 C and reacts with air but this material will decompose if heated above 150 C. How would you set up the system to distill this material?

I assume that 205 C boiling point is at atmospheric pressure. If you reduce the pressure with a vacuum pump maybe you can get the stuff to boil at lower than 150 degrees. That also cuts down on the reaction with air if there is little present :)
