Solving radical Equations

Using \/ for radical sign

6-4\/y=-11

Book says answer is 25.

I do not get this answer and I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

The book is wrong. If y is 25, sqrt 25 is 5

6-4*5=-14 not -11
