C is the midpoint of AB, D is the midpoint of AC, E is the midpoint of AD, F is the midpoint of ED, G is the midpoint of EF, and H is the midpoint of DB. If DC = 16, what is GH?

can someone(Preferably Ms. Sue) please help me, I've been stuck on this question for a long time now and I looked at my textbook but they don't mention anything about this question at all. It would be greatly appreciated

First find AG
AD = 16
AE = 8 and EF = 4 so EG = 2

AE + EG = AG = 8 + 2 = 10
Now find AH
AD = 16
AB = 64
so
DB =64 - 16 = 48
half of that is 24
so
AH = 16+24 = 40
GH = AH-AG = 40 - 10 = 30
