What are the coordinates of X2-2 where 1 is more than or equal to x and 2x where x is less than 1?


NOTE: X2 is x squared.

we have
x^2-2 where x <= 1
2x where x < 1

Not quite clear where you want to go with this.

I suspect you really meant

2x where x < 1
x^2-2 where x >= 1

If so, then the graph is a line which stops at x=1, and a parabola from there on. There is a jump discontinuity at x=1.
