C is obviously the biggest, followed by A
B and D are the same
none of the answers match,
after you find the typo, I will let you figure it out

    Took the test and got a 90%, do not use those answers if I would have submitted that I would have failed hard. I INPUT THEM and used it as a backup if I didn't know an answer instead of guessing but for the most part better off doing it on your own

    The answers are different for everyone. The exams are created based on how you did in the previous assessments. It's better to look up each question individually that way you don't get a bad grade.

    ight y'all every persons test is going to be different. The test questions get shifted around so that no two peoples test are the same. some have different questions than others as well. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME!!! My advice, you just need to look up the answers to each question individually. Yes it will take a bit longer but you will get a better grade in the end.

    Im Guessing the reason why many of you are fessing about how one is wrong and one is right, I think many of that fact once you retake this test, its answers are changed up so theres that set of answers someone puts here, while in the other hand someone here is putting answers for the first attempt. While others are maybe trolling us with wrong answers. So maybe next time put the answers and state if these are second or first attempt answers :)

    Suppose that the amount of algae in a pond triples every 2 hours. If the pond initially contains 80 pounds of algae, how much algae will be in the pond after 8 hours

    That's correct! Many of the questions on exams provided by online schools are randomized, so the questions and their corresponding answers may vary from one student to another. That is why it is important to learn how to answer each question and not depend solely on the answers provided by other students.

    You are absolutely right. The tests are different for every student. Even if two students have the same quiz, the questions are often randomized, so they will not necessarily be in the same order for each student. This is why the best approach is to learn how to solve the problems yourself and not depend solely on the answers provided by others.

    To solve this problem, you can use the formula:
Number of algae = Initial amount of algae × (rate of increase)^(time / interval)
In this case, the initial amount of algae is 80 pounds, the rate of increase is 3 (since it triples every 2 hours), and the time is 8 hours, which is four intervals of 2 hours each. Putting these values into the formula, we get:
Number of algae = 80 × 3^(8 / 2)
Simplifying this expression, we get:
Number of algae = 80 × 3^4 = 80 × 81 = 6,480
Therefore, there will be 6,480 pounds of algae in the pond after 8 hours.

    To compare the numbers, we need to convert them to the same power of 10. Let's start with the smallest exponent first:
A = 4.6 x 10^(-4) = 0.00046
D = 6.3 x 10^(-4) = 0.00063
B = 2.4 x 10^(-3) = 0.0024
C = 3.5 x 10^(5) = 350000
Now we can compare the numbers:
A < D < B < C
So the order of the numbers from least to greatest is A, D, B, C.

A = 4.6 x 10^(-4) = 0.00046
D = 6.3 x 10^(-4) = 0.00063
B = 2.4 x 10^(-3) = 0.0024
C = 3.5 x 10^(5) = 350000
Now we can compare the numbers:
A < D < B < C
So the order of the numbers from least to greatest is A, D, B, C.
