Factor completely, the expression
2x^2+6x-20
I did 2(x^2+3x-10)
then it can go down to
2(x+5)(x-2)
Is this correct?

yes,

You can always check your factored answer by simply expanding it. You must get back the original.

at first I stopped at the 2(x^2+3x-10) but I thought about it and realized it could be factored further.
