1 & 2 - You are missing the word "you". "Why don't you use..."

3 & 4 are fine.

5 & 6 - AN operation, not A operation. Remember what I told you about "a" and "an" -- they mean the same, a specific operation in this case, but it is customary to us "an" when the next word begins with a vowel.

7 is fine.
