Thanks for the info. I will ask my teacher on Monday.
oops! don't know why I put AP Calc, it's actually pre-calc....
Figured it out -- sorry for doubting you. It's right!
OMG!!!! I can't believe I did that, thanks so much for your help
so if the liver is below the diaphram and the lungs are above the diaphram isn't it inferior. Am I looking at this incorrectly?
The question states the lung is ______ to the liver I think it is inferior
Yes, I do know the meanings however I am confused because they both mean that they are away from the midline of the body Inferior is from the head down lateral is away from the mid I'm thinking lateral but still not positive can you clear it up for me?
Thanks, but I'm still really confused (that seems to be my mantra lately). I haven't had chemistry for 2 years and I'm at a loss, where to next?
THANKS!
Thank you soooooooo much, you are a great teacher! I truly understand!
Ok, thanks so much for your explanations. So, is the max area 8,000,000?
Thanks. I'm still confused though. I'm not sure how you got Area= W(8000-2W)= 8000w-2W^2 What happened to the L Do I need a system of equations? Sorry, this has got me stumped.
Thanks, getting something right gives me great confidence!
You have to solve the absolute value first, then change the sign to the opposite. So, it is 4.3 + -7.2 = -2.9 Then take the absolute value of -2.9 which is 2.9
I'm looking at your solution and I can't figure out where that -6 came from.
Please disregard, I found your answer.
Oh thanks didn't see this post. I realized I needed to make it equal zero. I keep getting 90 x^2 instead of 102 and 173 instead of 166. Why do they make this so hard?
Someone did answer it, however, I believe that their answer is incorrect. Also, I changed my answer a bit. I'm sorry, I messed up but I am becoming very frustrated with this problem.
No, I have never solved a quartic nor am I familiar with working with complex numbers. The only thing I have used is the rational roots theorem and that doesn't work here. Does that mean it can't be solved on the graphing calculator? Is there any way for
Actually, It is not a parabola, it is a W shape. I try to adjust my window and still can't see it on the screen ok. please help
