NOTE: I lived not too far from the house where Anne Frank hid. Many older Dutch homes are built so that from the outside you have no idea how many floors there really are. We used to have parties in another house that the underground used during the WWII because you would never know that huge room was in that house from the outside! We liked the bookcase that swung away so much in Anne Frank's house that my husband built one in our home too!
