   3. They faced restrictions on their movement and assembly.
7. Who was “called up” to register for work in a labor camp? Margot Frank
8. Where did the Franks hide? In the Secret Annex of Otto Frank's business premises in Amsterdam.
9. What were three issues or annoyances that Anne and the others faced while in hiding?
   1. Fear of discovery by the Nazis.
   2. Lack of privacy and personal space.
   3. Limited food supply and poor living conditions.

Part 2

Hermann van Pels: Hermann was a Jewish businessman and one of the occupants of the Secret Annex. He was a practical man and contributed to the group's efforts for survival.

Auguste van Pels: Auguste was Hermann's wife. She was caring and maternal, helping to maintain a semblance of normality in their cramped living conditions.

Peter van Pels: Peter was the son of Hermann and Auguste. A shy teenager, he eventually formed a close bond with Anne during their time in hiding.

Fritz Pfeffer: Fritz was a dentist who joined the Franks in hiding. He was sometimes at odds with the others due to his strong personality.

Edith Frank: Edith was Anne’s mother and Otto’s wife. She was often preoccupied with the difficulties of their situation but deeply cared for her daughters.

Margot Frank: Margot was Anne’s older sister. She was quiet, studious, and often the focus of their mother's concerns.

Otto Frank: Otto was Anne’s father and the head of the family. He was a strong leader and provided support and guidance to those in hiding.

Anne Frank: Anne was the youngest member of the Frank family. She was intelligent, spirited, and talented in writing, documenting her experiences in her diary.
