35 1/2 divided by 1 1/4 then 27 1/5 divided by 4/5
For the blue car the answer is 28.4.
For the red car the answer is 34.
blue: 35.5 / 1.25 = 28.4 mpg

red: 27.2 / 0.8 = 34 mpg
