(x-2)^3/4 = 8

What is the solution of the equation?

Can anyone please show me how to do this..

1 answer

raise to 4/3 power
(x-2) = 8^(4/3)
Now, 8^1/3 = 2, so
(x-2) = 2^4 = 16
x = 18
