What one thing is required for a rock to be called a sedimentary?

I know that "sedimentary rocks are formed when chemical reactions, tremendous heat, and/or great pressure change existing rocks into new knids of rocks. These new rocks (metamorphic rocks)have physical and chemical properties that are usually quite different from the original rocks."

A sedimentary rock is made up of sand and stones that have been deposited. Check these sites for more information.
