Write the equation of the line passing through (1, 5) and (7, 5).
when I work it out I get y=x+1/5 would that be right?
no
first you have to find the slope, notice it is zero, so you have a horizontal line
horizontal lines have form y = b, where b is a constant
look at your given points and see what that y value is.
x-5y=o
2x-3y=7
