(y+5)/(x+3) = -2/5
y+5 = (-2/5)(x+3)
Write an equation in point slope form for the line through the given point with the given slope (-3,-5);m=-2/5
Options
Y+5=-2/5(x+3)
Y+5=(-2/5)x-3
Y-5=-2/5(x+3)
Y-5=-2/5(x-3)
Help please I believe the answer would be b?

y + 5 = -2/5 (x + 3)
I agree that is probably what they want but I could see it as
y+5 = -2/ [5(x+3)]
which is wrong so I was reluctant to pick one of the listed answers
