Write a short poem about mental hurting

1 answer

In the depths of my mind, a storm does brew
A constant battle, a war fought through
The pain, the anguish, the voices that scream
A never-ending cycle, a shattered dream

Invisible wounds that cut so deep
A silent struggle, one I must keep
But the scars they linger, they never fade
A constant reminder of the price paid

Through the darkness, I try to find light
To push through the day, to fight the fight
But the demons they haunt, their grip so tight
Mental hurting, a relentless plight

So I soldier on, with each passing day
Hoping for relief, for a brighter way
But until then, I'll endure the pain
Mental hurting, my silent refrain.
