write a polynomial in factored form

x^3-3x^2-10x

7 answers

factor out the x first:

x(x^2-3x-10)

Now it should be fairly easy to come up with

x(x-5)(x+3)
x(x^2-3x-10)
x(x^2-5x+2x-10)
x(x(x-5)+2(x-5)
x=(x-5)(x+2)
Thank you Lee, You are a lifesaver.
Thanks lee ;)
Just so you guys dont get mixed up Steve is almost right however it is wrong the real answer is:
x(x-5)(x+2)
Factor the following:
x^3 - 3 x^2 - 10 x
Factor x out of x^3 - 3 x^2 - 10 x:
x (x^2 - 3 x - 10)
The factors of -10 that sum to -3 are 2 and -5. So, x^2 - 3 x - 10 = (x + 2) (x - 5):
Answer: x (x + 2) (x - 5)
Ayyy we have an army thank you jungkook 🤟🏽🤟🏽
