Ancient Greece and Egypt are both on the Mediterranean Sea.

They both had highly developed civilizations.

Greece is in Europe and made up of a mainland plus many islands. Egypt is all on the the continent of Africa.

Greece has no major rivers, while Egypt has the world's longest river, the Nile.

Please have your child check her book. It may have different similarities and differences.
