(b) Indicate which technological tools are being used and which technological tools are not being used?

1 answer

I chose to visit a large banking institution to assess how they use technology to communicate internally as well as with their external clients.

(a) Internally, the organization uses email, instant messaging systems, and intranet platforms to communicate with employees. These tools allow for quick and efficient communication within the organization. Additionally, video conferencing software is often used for virtual meetings with employees who are located in different offices or geographic locations.

Externally, the organization utilizes online banking platforms, mobile apps, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems to communicate with clients. These tools allow clients to easily access their accounts, make transactions, and communicate with customer service representatives.

(b) The organization is using a variety of technological tools for communication both internally and externally. However, one tool that seems to be underutilized is social media. While the organization has a presence on platforms such as Facebook and Twitter, they do not actively engage with clients through these channels. Utilizing social media for customer service and communication could improve the overall client experience and engagement. Additionally, virtual reality and augmented reality technologies are not being used by the organization for communication purposes. These technologies could potentially revolutionize the way the organization interacts with clients, providing a more immersive and engaging experience.
